In Season: Lemons

I’ve been noticing lately that when certain fruits or vegetables are in season, everyone starts talking about them, myself included. Can you really blame us? There’s nothing like fruit picked straight from the tree, and right now those trees are full of lemons.

So I’ve decided to start a new little section here on Pizzelles, highlighting some great season recipes available on the web. Today, it’s all about lemons…

    Mmmm, I love fresh lemons :) In our house growing up, we had a huge lemon tree and would go out every season to pick some fresh ones. And lately, I've been adding half a lemon to freshly squeezed Texas orange juice, and it totally brings out the flavor better :) Love me some lemons!

    i love this!! we have a ton of lemons on our little lemon tree. i really don't want them to go to waste, but you can only make so many hot toddies. :) i really want to make the scones and the lemon rosemary butter cookies. yum!

    I love this post! I stocked up on lemons last night – my boyfriend was all, 'why so many lemons?' They're in season and make some of the best desserts, in my opinion. I think I just might veganize Martha Stewart's lemon bars..

    Lemons are very in right now! My mom subscribed to a magazine, I think it's called "Cooking Light" or something. I was going through it since I am put on a strict diet by my doctors and noticed that a lot of the recipes included lemons. ^^
